Amanda Bronte-Balon is an eleven year old professional actress, vocalist and dancer. Amanda's first
professional performance was at the age of three. It was also at this age that Amanda's passion for musicals
was discovered. During a local audition Amanda impressed the directors in attendance as well as some
coaches and agents in the audience. She was approached with several showbiz opportunities that day, some of
which were accepted....and her career was launched.

Since then Amanda has performed on stages both internationally and throughout the USA. She has appeared
in several made-for-TV and independent films.  Amanda recently completed the nationwide Broadway tour in
which she  played the title role of "Annie" directed by Martin Charnin, (the original Broadway director and
script lyricist). In September 2007 Amanda completed a recording with Time Life Records and the cast of the
30th anniversary nationwide Broadway tour. Amanda sings the never before recorded tracks from Annie 2 in
the double CD recording. The CD which also features solos by Carol Burnett, Kathie-Lee Gifford, John Schuck,
Sally struthers,  Marissa O'Donnell and Broadways original Annie, Andrea McArdle was  released on June 3rd
2008.

In July 2005 Amanda represented the United States at the World Olympics of the Performing Arts. In this
one-of-a-kind annual event, held in Hollywood, California, forty-two different countries select and send their top
performers to compete. The competitors who vary in age from seven to ninety years old, act, sing, dance and
model their way through multiple elimination rounds. Amanda participated in several different genres in each
group making it through to the final worldwide showcase as one of the 20 best performers in the world.
Amanda won 16 medals for Team USA and the divisional acting title of "Champion Performer of the World" She
is also the recipient of the Broadway Trophy and Sarah award for "Best child star in a musical".

When not performing Amanda loves to spend time with her family, friends and dogs.  Amanda loves astronomy
and studying space. She enjoys playing the piano,guitar reading, swimming and biking. Amanda loves hearing

Amanda appears in the Lisa Maile Fashion Show screening room clip
Amanda and  two of her back-up dancers  perform on television Brighthouse Cable on
demand, in support of donating books so  everyone can learn to read. To view  pre-clips
Amanda contributes to the publication of the recipe book to raise funds for  "Wheels for
the World", a charity supplying wheelchairs to 3rd world countries. Amanda sings with
her back-up dancers during the half-time performance at the "Orlando Magic Wheelers"  
Basketball Tournament on May 1st 2009
Amanda is playing the title role in the touring production of "Emma-Lou and the Big
Ragout" . This comedic performance tells the story of a young girl - Emma-Lou who "has
it all" but is unable to find love.  It is decided that she is "bereft of charm" and sets out
on a long journey to find charm. Emma-Lou's  long time friend and mentor accompanies
her on her eventful, hilarious adventures
