| Floridians 8yr old Amanda Balon and sister 10 year old Samantha Balon returned from Hollywood California last night. The girls known as Orlando's rising stars participated in the World Championships of the Performing Arts. This prestigious competition, founded by Griff O'Neil is often referred to as the Performing Arts Olympics. Amanda and Samantha who each participated in the acting, dancing, singing and modelling categories won 20 medals altogether. Both girls received the opportunity to meet several famous show-biz moguls and representatives during the competition week and have both been offered contracts. The Balon's rate their experience as the "best time we have ever had" "This is such a professional, challenging, exciting competition. We met some of the most brilliant performers in the world and we have learned so much" says Samantha. "I will never forget how it felt to be up on the world championships stage" Amanda adds "oh my gosh I am so lucky to have had this opportunity" |
